He formed his band in the year October 2012 with the name of Backroad Anthem with a help of one of his friends. Backroad Anthem band is a country/rock band and has its headquarters at Fayetteville, AR. It is a man group band that keeps on captivating the audience with their unique style of music playing. 

This band was started by the local church but after their first performance, they made it clear that they have a bright future ahead.

The other member of his band includes Isaac Senty, Eric Dysart, Toby Freeman, and Brandon Robold. Later Josh opened his band for artists like Chris Young, Tyler Farr, Dustin Lynch, and many more and released his first episode with the title of “Small Town Fame” on May 3, 2013.
