Alka Bhatia was born in a Punjabi Family in 1970 (age 51 years, as of 2021) in Amritsar, Punjab, India. Her father’s name is Hari Om Bhatia, who was a former Army officer. Later, Hari Om Bhatia resigned from the Indian Army and started working as an accountant with UNICEF.

On the other hand, Alka’s mother’s name is Aruna Bhatia. She is a Film producer, who has produced many Bollywood movies. Aruna Bhatia produced Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty, Sooryavanshi, Chumbak (2017), Naam Shabana, Rustom, Airlift (film), Sooryavanshi, and Kesari movie. In her family, she has an elder brother named Rajiv Bhatia (famously known as Akshay Kumar). He is an Indian Actor and Producer.
