David Mitchell whose birth name is David James Stuart Mitchel is a British comedian, actor, writer and television presenter. He was born on 14 July 1974 in Salisbury, Wiltshire, England, United Kingdom. He is half of the comedy duo, Mitchell and Webb, alongside Robert Webb. The duo starred in the Channel 4 sitcom Peep Show, in which Mitchell plays Mark Corrigan. Mitchell won the British Academy Television Award for Best Comedy Performance in 2009 for his performance in the show.
The duo has written and starred in several sketches shows including Bruiser, The Mitchell and Webb Situation, That Mitchell and Webb Sound and also That Mitchell and Webb Look. Mitchell and Webb also starred in the UK version of Apple’s Get a Mac advertisement campaign. Their first film, Magicians, was released in 2007.

He has also narrated the British version of Beauty and the Geek and made a piece of himself titled Listen to Mitchell. His appearances from 2013 include Best of the Worst, Would I Lie To You? and The Big Fat Quiz of the Year, among others. In 2014, he was among the signatories of Guardia.
